On Thursday 24 August 2017 Community Action Suffolk and the Suffolk Coastal and Waveney District Council summer interns will be working together on an event to raise awareness of the volunteering opportunities in East Suffolk.

This event is aimed at encouraging young people from the district to get on board with the many exciting and useful volunteering opportunities available, as well as promoting the benefits to organisations of having young people volunteer for them. The Volunteer Suffolk website will also be promoted and help will be offered on how to access it.

We will be setting up an information stall at one of the ‘Visit Felixstowe’ Beach Huts where we will be promoting volunteering opportunities, providing all necessary details to those interested and representing the work the two organisations do for communities in East Suffolk.

Please spread the word and if you’re in the area come down and see us!
