“What can Europe offer to the Voluntary Sector in Suffolk?” An event on 17th July 2014

UPDATED: Presentations from the event available:

Thursday 17th July 2014, 9am – 12pm
Royal Harwich Yacht Club, Woolverstone, Suffolk, IP9 1AT

Hosted by Community Action Suffolk (CAS), this event is your chance to find out more about how the next round of European Funding for 2014-2020 is likely to be distributed across Norfolk* and Suffolk, how you can be involved in this process, and what support is available for your organisation.

This is an opportunity to hear from some of the key people involved in planning how Suffolk and Norfolk can benefit from future European funding, and to find out how the Voluntary Sector can get involved.

New Anglia, the Local Enterprise Partnership for Norfolk and Suffolk, has submitted its European Investment Strategy for approval by Central Government, and you will be able to hear more about the Strategy’s content, provisional funding allocations for Norfolk and Suffolk, and how there may be opportunities for the Voluntary Sector.

For further background to this event, these supporting documents are available:

You will note from the Information Paper that CAS is developing a new Network of Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise organisations with an interest in this next round of funding, and there will be an opportunity to sign up to this Network at the event.

*A similar event is being held in Norfolk on 11 July, hosted by Voluntary Norfolk
