Community Action Suffolk facilitates a number of networks in Suffolk’s Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. These include networks based on specialist areas of work, as well as networking events around the county.

CAS has consulted with a range of colleagues from the VCSE sector to develop these face-to-face and virtual networks. We are keen to ensure that the VCSE sector can flourish, and staff and volunteers in the sector are connected to each other so they can also develop and grow professionally.

These networks provide a key opportunity for us to support this growth as well as an effective voice channel to influence policy and improve the economy of the VCSE sector.

Locality network events

We run a number of locality network events throughout the year, across Suffolk. These events offer lots of opportunities to network with the other local organisations, as well as a chance to enjoy presentations from a number of guest speakers. There will also be a chance to talk to your Community Action Suffolk Locality Officer, and arrange any follow up meetings from issues raised at the event. Visit our events calendar for details on the next event near you.

Specialist Networks

We also operate a number of specialist networks for the VCSE sector. By becoming a member of CAS (which is free of charge), you can choose to sign up to a number of VCSE Specialist Networks. You will receive access to information, resources, peer to peer support and learning opportunities:
