DBS checks (previously CRB)

CAS provides a quick and efficient solution to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checking. CAS has been a registered umbrella body with the DBS since 2002 and provides a range of options to suit your needs when it comes to DBS checking. Our experienced staff will guide you through the process with the minimum of delay and are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Community Action Suffolk’s Insurance Team is dedicated to supporting the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector. Our insurance policies provide peace of mind and the protection needed by an organisation operating in the VCSE sector. We provide insurance for small charities and organisations, parish councils and village halls.

Locality network events

Throughout these events there will be lots of opportunities to network with the other attendees, as well as a chance to enjoy presentations from guest speakers. There will also be a chance to talk to your Community Action Suffolk Locality Officer, and arrange any follow up meetings from issues raised at the event.

Meeting room and office hire

Our professional meeting rooms and office spaces are ideal to host your meetings and training sessions. If you need an office base, we have rooms available in serviced buildings. We also provide a virtual tenancy service for mobile or home workers at our buildings in Ipswich and Lowestoft.
