UKYPFollowing a hugely successful election campaign for UK Youth Parliament for Suffolk, Community Action Suffolk is delighted to introduce you to our newly elected Members of Youth Parliament (MYPs) and Deputy Members of Youth Parliament (DMYPS) for Suffolk.

Young People (aged 11-18) throughout Suffolk have been voting for their favourite candidate throughout March 2014, and we now have 13 young people elected, representing all parliamentary constituencies across Suffolk.

They started in their new roles on 1st April 2014 and will have a two year term of office or step down on their 19th birthday. Below are posters for each constituency, introducing you to the new MYP and deputy MYP for that area, along with their manifestos.

This is a really exciting time for UKYP Suffolk, and we look forward to updating you with reports and positive stories from our MYPs and DMYPs as they begin their time representing the views of young people and making sure that their voice is heard at local, regional and national level.
