3 reasons why you shouldn’t miss the Village Halls Conference 2015

March 18, 2015

Categories: Community Buildings | Events | Networking

This is an important conference for anyone who is involved with a community building whether it is a Village Hall, Community Centre, Scout Hut, Bowls Club or Sports Pavilion.

Here are 3 things we don’t think you should miss!

  1. First hand experience about Big Lottery funding
Find out more about the Big Lottery Reaching Communities Building Fund, talk to the funding officer and hear a case study from a group who are going through the process.
  2. Access funding to buy in expertise for your building
The Village SOS project: Phase 2 of this successful programme is being launched to help community projects across the UK.
  3. Make your building green and save money
Talk to an independent Green Energy Specialist: What could you do with your building?

Saturday 28th March 2015, 10am – 2pm
at Debenham Community Centre, Gracechurch Street, Debenham IP14 6BL

This is an informative and interactive event with top speakers, a very relevant case study, a networking lunch and workshops. You will have time to talk to funders, specialists, suppliers and other village hall trustees. There will be various trade stands including Hallmaster, Suffolk Sport, Suffolk Online and other companies to be confirmed.
