The development of the Strategy aims to build a strong and sustainable volunteering culture in Suffolk that will enable communities to help themselves and thrive.
In order for this strategy to work it needs to be built around the people, organisations and communities of the county and their needs. There also needs to be an understanding of what barriers there are to volunteering, so that the number of volunteers can increase and an improvement in the quality of opportunities can be made.
Two surveys have been designed to get feedback from key people and partners that will then be used to directly impact on the content of the Volunteering Strategy:
General Public and Volunteers in Suffolk survey
You can access the ‘General Public and Volunteers survey’ here. It will take between 5-10 minutes.
Employers survey (Businesses and Statutory Sector employers)
You can access the ‘Employers Survey’ here. It will take between 5-10 minutes.
