nhs-gyw-ccg-healtheastCAS and NHS Great Yarmouth and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are hosting a workshop to explore how voluntary and community sector organisations can have an impact on the health and wellbeing of our communities.

When and where

Wednesday 9 March 2016, 9am to 11:30am.
Lowestoft Community Church, 8 Hadenham Road, Lowestoft, NR33 7NF.

About the workshop

We would really like your views on what health and wellbeing issues matter most to local individuals, families and communities.

We want to explore where you think your organisation and the wider voluntary and community sector (VCS) already has, or could have, most impact.

We have organised an interactive workshop – lots of sharing of information and ideas – as the first stage of building a closer working relationship between the VCS and the Clinical Commissioning Group.

Agenda

  1. Welcome and Introductions
  2. The Context – Health and Wellbeing in Suffolk
[Health and Wellbeing Board Strategy, Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) Priorities, East Suffolk Enabling Communities Strategy]
  3. VCS Impact on Health and Wellbeing
Where does (or could) a) your organisation and b) the VCS as a whole have most impact?
  4. What health issues do the public sector most need help from the VCS to tackle?
  5. Develop a ‘logic model’ for each of the top three high-level outcomes identified
  6. Share logic models between tables and add comments/ideas/thoughts
  7. Next steps
