talent match new angliaNew-U is a non profit making clothes recycle community project led by Talent Match Young People. The project was started by a group of participants wanting to give something back to the local community.

Clothes swap events are aimed at anyone wanting to recycle items they no longer want or need and will be taking place in Ipswich during August, October and November 2016. Donations are ‘swapped’ for other chosen items which are taken away free of charge.

As well as providing a service to local communities and recycling unwanted items, it is giving young people in Norfolk and Suffolk the chance to gain valuable experience in project planning, marketing, transport, finance and evaluation, the skills prospective employers look for.  We have a programme of events planned in Ipswich, Norwich, Lowestoft and Kings Lynn throughout 2016 and 2017.

Upcoming clothes swap events are happening in Ipswich in 2016:

2 August
9 August
16 August
23 August
11 October
18 October
25 October
1 November

All events are from 11am to 3pm at Waterfront Community Centre Ipswich, 32-34 Grimwade Street, Ipswich, IP4 1LP.
