Affordable housing recently built in the village of Clare

BBC Radio 4 recently produced a feature on the Suffolk village of Lavenham and how residents have recognised the need for more affordable housing, especially for young families.

In September 2014, Lavenham Parish Council used Community Action Suffolk’s housing needs survey toolkit to survey local residents. The majority of respondents were in favour of a small affordable housing scheme for people with a local connection.
