Update: Suffolk Village Halls & Community Buildings Conference

85 Trustee’s, management group leads and community facilities coordinator’s attended the Suffolk Village Halls and Community Buildings Conference on 7th November at the Riverside Centre, Stratford St Andrew.

The sold out event was designed to provide delegates with practical workshops, listen to informative key note speakers and network with like minded facilities leads from across Suffolk. Attendees heard from key note speakers including Deborah Clarke, Rural Evidence Manager at ACRE, Alan Wilkinson, Senior Architect at KLH Architects and Trustee from Westhorpe Village Hall who told their story of rebuilding and redesigning their hall into a modern community led village hall.

The Suffolk Village Halls Conference also provided delegates with the opportunity to discuss their specific needs with professional trades and services:

Jon Eaton, Governance & Community Buildings Officer at CAS said ‘Thank you to all the delegates that attended the Suffolk Village Halls Conference.
