CAS Quality Standard Award
To achieve the CAS Quality Standard Award, organisations compile an online portfolio of evidence to meet the standard. Each of the four areas can be completed independently and assessment feedback provided on each section rather than wait to complete the whole portfolio before assessment feedback is provided.
To support organisations with completing the Award, organisations get access to:
- a comprehensive standards framework
- a range of example policies and procedures
- example forms
- helpful links
- support from a Quality Standards Support Worker to guide you through the process
- external verification
- secure online storage for evidence
- Children and young people’s organisation undertake the Youth Charter
- workshop surgeries*
- a discount on Community Action Suffolk Training on completion*
The process can take a varying amount of time depending on an organisations circumstances but normally takes between three and twelve months to complete. For a sample of the framework click here.
