October 26 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
With guest Gary Crockett – Health & Independence Manager at East Suffolk Council, who manages the Warm Homes Healthy People initiative. There will be an opportunity to find out about Warm Homes Healthy People and the support available to community members that might need help to stay warm at home as the seasons change and cold weather comes our way, from emergency fuel payments, loans of temporary heaters in an emergency, to support with making homes warmer and more energy efficient! This will be a relaxed virtual networking & coffee break via Zoom to have a friendly chat about your groups activities, to share your positive community news, meet others in the same boat and to help troubleshoot and problem solve challenges together! Pour yourself a cup of tea or coffee and join our Good Neighbour Network Development Officer for a relaxed virtual coffee break via Zoom to have a friendly chat, learn about local services/organisations that may be of help to your group/community members, network, talk about community volunteering, and being neighbourly. So whether you’re already volunteering in your community, interested in getting involved, already a Good Neighbour, or are part of a community response or Mutual Aid group – all are welcome!
