NEW COURSE FOR 2020! Finance essentials for treasurers and Trustees

This course is being delivered in partnership with our colleagues from Essex Rural Community Council. The training is developed for Treasurers and Trustees in helping them to understand their financial responsibilities.
The course covers a range of areas related to financial procedures for Treasurers and Trustees, including: Record keeping, reporting, and preparing financial statements; Updating the Charity Commission Register; Financial Policies; Expenses; Charity Commission Requirements; and annual accounts and independent examination.
It is a great course for those who want to learn more about the financial responsibilities required for a charitable organisation, with examples to help solidify the learning. It is a comprehensive course, which will equip Trustees with more confidence in undertaking financial reporting and ensuring that the organisation is complying with Charity Commission requirements. It is delivered by very experienced professionals within the VCSE sector.
