The Suicide First Aid Lite with Young People gives learners the knowledge on how to have a caring conversation that could save a life.
Teaching the theory of suicide intervention skills that can be applied in any professional or personal setting, captured in a 3.5-hour event.
We use only the most experienced suicide prevention trainers to deliver this unique learning experience: for anyone who seeks greater understanding and confidence to intervene with people at risk of suicide. Meet the Trainer
Alison Armstrong is an expert in the drug and alcohol field with over 20 years of experience. Her specialities lie in suicide prevention and family work. Alison has delivered over 30 Suicide First Aid sessions this year alone, and alongside this has been involved in training several cohorts of new Associate Tutors on how to deliver this programme across the UK and internationally.
