Measuring impact is the recognised way in which you show the value your organisation is delivering to its beneficiaries and society as a whole, as well as to funders.
This course is designed as a beginner’s guide to Social Impact Measurement, dispelling myths and leaving participants with the ability to put a Social Impact Measurement plan into place within their own organisation. The course will cover the following subjects:
Why measure Social Impact and how to plan for implementation, how to collect evidence – outputs v. outcomes, the role of performance indicators and provides an introduction to SIM methodologies.
The course is suitable for anyone interested in implementing Social Impact Measurement in their organisation.

Meet the trainer
I’m Sarah Lomasney and I am the Social Investment Officer at Community Action Suffolk. I have worked in the VCSE sector for over 20 years. I have been delivering training on a variety of areas for a number of years, most recently focusing on fundraising, monitoring and evaluation and social impact measurement.
