Volunteer Leadership: Introduction to Volunteer Management

Please note that this course will be delivered via Zoom.
This 2-part course is ideal for those new to volunteer leadership or those who need a refresher regarding leadership structure and procedure.
Part 1 covers Planning and Recruitment (Inclusion) of volunteers.
Part 2 covers Support and Celebration of volunteers.
Participants will be encouraged to share and explore best practice ideas and resources to support volunteers within their group and organisation.
At the end of this course:
Learners will be given an Interactive Volunteer Management Guide, Volunteer Handbook and on-going 1:1 support with a volunteer development officer at CAS.
Upon completion participants will have a clear understanding how to structure their volunteer programme. They will complete an action plan within the session to enable them to consider next steps.
Meet the Trainer
Faye has over 20 years working within the Voluntary and Community Sector, Managing, Coordinating and Facilitating volunteers.
She is particularly interested in supporting leaders of volunteers create a user-friendly structured programme that is suitable for the individual group or organisation. Faye also understands the importance of connecting leaders of volunteers and how this can be a great support network for all involved.
