locality-network-eventsThe Volunteer Coordinators network is one of a number of specialist networks facilitated by Community Action Suffolk for the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) and statutory sectors in Suffolk.

How to join the network
This network is open to all VCSE sector organisations, which you can join by becoming a CAS member (membership is free). You will receive email updates when we have relevant news and information to share, including a bi-monthly Volunteer Coordinators newsletter.

Purpose of the Volunteer Coordinators network
To enable volunteer coordinators and managers to come together to share ideas & good practice to:

  • champion volunteer recruitment
  • develop and facilitate peer support
  • increase the impact of volunteering in Suffolk
  • share best practice
  • offer support and information
  • influence and impact the local agenda
  • provide greater awareness of volunteering for Suffolk
  • campaign on volunteering issues
  • bring together a collective voice on key areas for the volunteering agenda

Events: Volunteering Development Forums
The network holds regular Volunteering Development Forums, across Suffolk. The aim of these meetings is for you, the managers and coordinators who work with volunteers everyday, to come together and share, learn and offer support to each other. Visit our events calendar for details on the next Volunteering Development Forum near you.
