CANCELLED: Are you making an “impact”? Join our free networking event in Ipswich on 8th December

2 Dec: CANCELLED. We regret that we have had to cancel this event. However there is a free Funding Fair taking place on 13th January 2015 at which will be Community Action Suffolk Volunteering & Community Development Officers. You will be warmly welcomed so please feel free to book onto this event if you think the information and networking may be beneficial to you.

We invite you to come along to the next Community Action Suffolk network event in the Ipswich area:

Monday 8th December 2014
10am – 12.30pm
Brightspace,160 Hadleigh Road, Ipswich, IP2 0HH

As the end of the year approaches, we want the network to celebrate its successes in 2014.

In this final session we are giving groups the opportunity to share their experiences in an interactive workshop facilitated by our Senior Development Officer for Localities, Andrew Wilesmith. We’ll also have additional content from one of our internal specialists, and our experienced Community Field Officers, Richard and Kirsty, on Measuring our Impact, Past, Present and Future.

This is your opportunity to share ideas on how you are demonstrating the impact and value of your work, looking at monitoring techniques, outcomes and outputs, and the use of case studies. We’ll explore why this is important, what we currently do and how we can all improve our practice in 2015 and beyond, individually and collectively.

We encourage everyone to bring with you some examples of:
– How you measure your outputs and outcomes
– How you demonstrate the difference you make through your work
– How you collect feedback from your users, and other monitoring data
– Any case studies or reports you have written about your work, past and present.

As usual we’ll also have a sharing table for any literature you want to share with the network, which we encourage you to use to share annual reports and other documents.

There will also be a chance to have 1 to 1 appointments after the session with our local Community Field Officers for Ipswich, Richard Broom and Kirsty Wilmot, or feel free to stay until 12.30pm for networking.
