Support Services Assistant

Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Term: 1 year fixed term contract
Location: Community Action Suffolk, Brightspace, Ipswich
Salary: £16,000 pro rata

Community Action Suffolk is seeking an enthusiastic and resourceful Support Service Assistant with excellent administration to support our diverse organisation.
Community Action Suffolk is an infrastructure organisation for the VCSE sector with a vision of stimulating, empowering and strengthening an effective and sustainable voluntary and community sector.
As a Support Services Assistant you will support the organisation and provide excellent administration support which requires attention to detail.

Minding the Gap Administrator

HOURS: Full time 37.5 hours per week
TERM: Fixed term contract to 30th September 2019
LOCATION: Community Action Suffolk, Brightspace, Ipswich
SALARY: £16,000 per annum pro rata
START DATE: As soon as possible

Community Action Suffolk is currently seeking a Project Administrator who will support the Minding the Gap Project Manager, Senior Administrator and Director of Business Development with excellent administration for the coordination and delivery of the project across Suffolk, in collaboration with 7 partner organisations.

Minding the Gap is an employability project for 16-24 year olds in Suffolk who face significant challenges/barriers to accessing employment and are currently/or at risk of social isolation.

This project is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and Big Lottery Fund (BLF).

The MTG Administrator will provide excellent administration, attention to detail and support for the project and be a point of contact for all project partners, CAS staff and external enquiries.

Felixstowe Timebank Coordinator

Salary: £21,000 pro rata
Hours: 15hrs pw
Fixed Term 10 months
Base: Felixstowe Town Hall

Community Action Suffolk ( in partnership with Felixstowe Forward and East Suffolk Councils) has an exciting opportunity for a part time role to develop and establish a Timebank in Felixstowe.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion and interest in volunteering.  The ideal candidate will have experience of developing and promoting new community projects, ensuring that the structure and organisation is put into place for a TimeBank to build strong foundations in Felixstowe. The candidate will also need to look at long term sustainability and future funding opportunities.
