CAS In Conversation – A New Podcast From Community Action Suffolk

We’re very excited to share the news that as of this week, you can now enjoy a new output from the Community Action Suffolk team, featuring all the issues, voices and announcements from across the sector.

The CAS In Conversation podcast can be found on Anchor and on Apple platforms, and will be delivering regular interviews with voluntary sector leaders, as well as those from the private sector.

We’ve initiated this approach because we really believe that it’s high time the voices of those who run, volunteer at, and charitably support our various organisations, are heard and appreciated more often.

It’s also a chance to debate the issues at the heart of our county, and to understand what role the voluntary sector is playing in supporting healthier and happier lives among our entire Suffolk population.

We launch the podcast with a series of chats based around the topic of volunteering.

This ties in with a number of volunteer-focused initiatives being led by Community Action Suffolk in the coming months, including an emphasis on Employer Supported Volunteering in March.

In the early episodes, you’ll hear from a number of individuals who have themselves discovered the benefits of volunteering, and from those who are leaders in Suffolk-based organisations which require more volunteer support.

We welcome your comments on our episodes, and your suggestions for interviewees and discussion subjects.
