Background
Rural Housing Week 2025 provided a platform for parish councils, community land trusts (CLTs), housing associations and local authorities to explore the challenges and opportunities surrounding affordable and community-led housing in Suffolk. The event facilitated information exchange, networking, and collaborative problem-solving, with participant feedback collected between 11 and 23 July 2025.

Diverse Information and Practical Guidance: Participants appreciated the breadth of topics covered, especially regarding funding opportunities, legal matters for CLTs, and collaboration with housing associations. Sessions on Housing Needs Surveys (HNS) and rural exception sites were particularly well-received for their practical value.
