Course Overview: Together, we can create safer and organisations and communities.
This safeguarding training will help you learn how to recognise and report abuse correctly. It will also equip you with ways to be safer organisations. This essential course covers both children and adults, empowering you to support individuals, families and communities more effectively.
Protecting people and safeguarding responsibilities are a priority, it is your responsibility to ensure that no one who comes into contact with your group is harmed. If someone needs safeguarding we must ensure they receive the appropriate support.

Who Should Attend: This training course is designed for individuals aged 18 and over from statutory, voluntary, independent, and community organisations. It is suitable as a refresher course as well as an introduction.

Accessibility: This event will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams and will include up to 17 participants, including the trainer. The session will use a PowerPoint presentation and provide opportunities for participation through discussion, breakout rooms, and the chat function. Use of a microphone and camera is required unless otherwise stated by the trainer.
Presentation slides and any accompanying resources will be shared after the event with attendees unless otherwise stated. A break will be provided.
