Equipped to Lead safeguarding: Safeguarding governance responsibilities for Trustees and Leaders (030227)

If you are a Trustee or Leader do you understand your governance responsibilities for safeguarding and how to fulfil them? If you are new to the role or want to refresh your knowledge then this practical, informative course is for you. It covers your responsibilities, what, how and when to report safeguarding incidents to the Charity Commission and how to build a safeguarding culture in the organisation. This session can support you to make the charity (VCFSE) organisation a safe and trusted environment.

Accessibility: This event will be delivered online via Microsoft Teams and will include up to 17 participants, including the trainer. The session will use a PowerPoint presentation and provide opportunities for participation through discussion, breakout rooms, and the chat function. Use of a microphone and camera is required unless otherwise stated by the trainer.

Presentation slides and any accompanying resources will be shared after the event with attendees unless otherwise stated. A break will be provided.
