This webinar session is a practical guide for trustees, leaders, managers and staff.

The power of policies and procedures to improve organisations is significant and sometimes overlooked. Effective policies and procedures hold successful organisations together and keep them on course; in line with their vision and strategy. They provide consistent governance, direction and decision making. They can minimise risk and increase safety and resilience for organisations. Do you think your policies and procedures need improvement, or you think you might have some gaps? If yes, then this session is for you!

Do you want to create policies and procedures that support your organisation’s governance, strategy, culture and success?
Do you want to understand how your organisation’s policies and procedures can create a safe and healthy place for staff, volunteers and service users?
Do you want to learn how to use a powerful tool to measure and improve your organisation’s quality and performance using policies and procedures?
If yes, then this session is for you too!

Questions you will be able to answer after the session:
• What are the benefits and principles of developing policies and procedures that support your organisation’s governance, strategy and culture?
• How do we write policies and procedures that support a positive, safe and healthy place for staff, volunteers and service users?
• How can the CAS Organisation HealthCheck Plus and Quality Standard help us assess, improve, and demonstrate our organisation’s quality through policies and procedures?

This session will be delivered via Teams and is fully subsidised so is being offered free of charge.
