Food, Connection & Change: Network Event (Debenham)

This network event will explore how food can bring people together and support positive change, featuring discussions on wraparound support and referral pathways.

This event is for community food projects across Suffolk – staff and volunteers.

The morning will feature discussions on wraparound support and referral pathways presented by Suffolk County Council’s JOY project officer as well as interactive activities and opportunities to connect, learn, share ideas and showcase your own expertise facilitated by Feeding Britiain.

There is plenty of parking available on site. Light refreshments (i.e. drinks and biscuits) will be provided.

Accessibility: Debenham Community Centre is a multi-activity and event space. The main activities will be held in a large, open room, either with presentations to 40-50 people at a time or as smaller activities where the speaker will be seated alongside attendees. There is step-free access to both the main room and the additional space we will be using, as well as an accessible toilet. Parking and a cycle shelter are available on site, and the 116 bus service and High Suffolk Community Transport Route 3 stop just at the end of the car park.
