Food, Connection and Change – Network Event (ActivLives)

This network event will explore how food can bring people together and support positive change, featuring discussions on community growing initiatives, cooking skills and the role of wraparound support in helping people access wider services and opportunities.

This event is for community food projects across Suffolk – staff and volunteers. The morning will feature discussions on community growing, cooking skills and the role of wraparound support, as well as interactive activities and opportunities to connect, learn, share ideas and showcase your own expertise.

Parking is available in surrounding areas (blue badge parking available at the pavilion). Light refreshments (i.e. drinks and biscuits) will be provided.

Accessibility: CRESS Pavilion is a community resources, education and skills space, managed by the charity ActivLives. We will be using both the indoor and outdoor spaces, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress according to the weather. There is rough terrain across the site, with some small walkways in the garden, but step free access to the main areas we will be using and the toilets. Walkers, sticks and electric chairs may be more comfortable than manual wheelchairs for some users.
