It’s Small Charity Week 2015!
Small Charity Week celebrates and raises awareness of the essential work of the UK’s small charity sector who make an invaluable contribution to the lives of millions of individuals, communities and causes across the UK and the rest of the world.
There are 2977 registered charities in Suffolk, operating at a local level. The majority of these charities have an income of less than £10,000.
Community Action Suffolk supports small charities, large charities, voluntary and community groups in Suffolk. We provide information and guidance on areas such as funding, training, volunteering, community buildings, children young people and families, and much more.

Where is the data from?
The NCVO & Community Action Suffolk data tool gives an overview of local charities in Suffolk, using data from the Charity Commission register of charities. The analysis does not include those regional or national charities that are based outside of, but operate in, Suffolk.
What data can I view?
You can find out about Suffolk charities’ income, expenditure, assets and workforce, and see where they are based on a map. The data can also be filtered to a district and borough level for Babergh, Forest Heath, Ipswich, Mid Suffolk, St Edmundsbury, Suffolk Coastal and Waveney.
