CAS research shows Suffolk’s VCFSE sector facing significant impacts of the cost of living crisis
As individuals across the country face an economic crisis the like of which we haven’t seen for decades, the VCFSE sector, a lifeline to thousands of individuals across Suffolk, is facing some of the most challenging circumstances it too has ever seen with increased costs, increased demand on services, reducing donations and loss of staff and volunteers, all cited in the report as just some of the issues impacting their work.
The full report can be found here:The Cost of Living Crisis Impact on Suffolk’s Voluntary,Community & Social Enterprise (VCSE) Sector
Britain is facing its biggest cost of living crisis in decades which is not only impacting households and individuals but the voluntary and community sector too. We know that organisations are highly concerned about rising costs, losing valued members of staff to other sectors which pay more, losing volunteers and declining mental health across the voluntary and paid workforce as individuals face their own cost of living crises. We’ve pulled together a list of support and resources for organisations.
