About the Suffolk Village Halls and Community Buildings Conference 2017

Organised by Community Action Suffolk, this conference will bring together all those involved with village halls and community buildings. This is a day to learn and provide you with information on village halls and community buildings which you can take back and apply to the organisations you work within.
Following the success of last year’s event at Great Barton, we invite trustees, officers, staff and volunteers involved with community buildings to attend this information based event.
The Suffolk Village Halls and Community Buildings Conference 2017 is on Saturday 15 July 2017 at Blackbourne Community Centre from 9:30am to 3:30pm, costing £25 (lunch and refreshments provided).

Conference agenda

This year’s presentations include:

  • an insight into the design and build of the Big Lottery funded project ‘The Hub’ a Hall for All in Huntingfield
  • National updates from ACRE representatives
  • workshops
  • specific funding surgeries designed for community buildings
