Suffolk Village Halls Conference – 7th November 2018

Community Action Suffolk are pleased to confirm the arrangements for the Suffolk Village Halls & Community Buildings Conference 2018. The conference has been planned for trustees, officers, staff and volunteers involved in managing and running community buildings. Delegates will learn and receive information on village halls and community buildings which can be taken back and applied locally.

Date:    Wednesday 7th November 2018

Time:   10am to 3:30pm (registration and market place from 9.30am)

Cost:    £25 per delegate (lunch and refreshments included), payment to be made at time of booking

Delegate workshops include legislation updates from Suffolk Fire & Rescue, an insight into Health & Safety compliance from Acer Safety Services, Tech Solutions for Village Halls, Insurance information, access to Professional Services via Suffolk Pro Help and funding guidance for Community Buildings.

The event expects to attract delegates from the hundreds of village halls and community buildings from across Suffolk. Attendee’s will have the chance to network with others, hear from national speakers, engage with professional trade stands and learn new skills and practices.
