VCS groups invited to discuss Suffolk County Council’s transformations – 18th June 2014

Small Charity Week 2014

As part of Small Charity Week 2014 and on Policy Day (18th June 2014), Suffolk County Council, in partnership with Community Action Suffolk, would like to invite groups from the Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) to attend an event which will allow them to engage in the major transformations that are taking place at the Council.

These transformation programmes are about how Suffolk County Council can deliver the services that local people need within the challenging economic climate while focussing on involving communities in planning and decision making.

This event aims to explain more about the transformation programmes and to explain how Suffolk’s charities can engage and influence the programmes.

Cllr Beccy Hopfensperger will be opening the event, to be followed by a number of themed round-table discussions, focusing on particular areas and issues, including:

  • Health and Independence
  • Supporting Lives and Connecting Communities
  • Making Every Intervention Count
  • Raising the Bar
  • Travel
  • Local Response
  • Corporate Services / Procurement

The event is aimed at all Voluntary and Community Sector groups in Suffolk.

Places are limited for this event, so please book now:
