Deborah joined ACRE as part of the 21st Century Halls for England, a Millennium Commission Project. Since 2000, she has provided the dedicated Village Hall Information & Advice Service to the ACRE Network. Her responsibilities include working with ACRE Network members and representing ACRE and the interests of village halls at national level. Deborah manages the Rural Community Buildings Loan Fund and the Village Hall Improvement Grant Fund on behalf of Defra. Deborah has had a busy year with the release of the National Village & Community Halls Survey 2020 and co-ordinating the information provided to ACRE Network members and village and community halls in relation to the CV-19 pandemic.
