Volunteer Leadership: Managing Challenging Volunteer Situations (150424)

Volunteers are the life blood of our community groups but from time to time potential challenging situations arise resulting from volunteer behaviour which require appropriate and careful handling.

Course content
This session will offer ‘best practice’ methods in dealing with these difficult situations while providing suggestions on potential preventative measures. We aim to cover the following topics:
✔ Disruptive behaviours and common niggles
✔ Confronting the issue
✔ Implementing a structured volunteer programme
✔ Ending the relationship
