Get into Youth Work Academy (starts 25th June: 3 days a week for 2 weeks)

Following the success of the first Youth Work Academy we are pleased to announce that it is back!!!!! 4yp, Loft heights Skills Academy and Community Action Suffolk are coming together again. It will be delivered in person in Ipswich, IP2 0ST.

Are you passionate about making an impact on young people’s lives? Join our Youth Work academy to explore the exciting world of Youth Work and build an exciting career.
If you are thinking about or would like to work with young people be it in a youth club, learning environment or after schools clubs this course is right for you!

STARTING 25th June this 6 session course runs 3 days a week for 2 weeks 10am -2.30pm. Session dates are:
Tuesday 25th June, Wednesday 26th June, Thursday 27th June, Tuesday 2nd July, Wednesday 3rd July and Thursday 4th July.
Safeguarding, Trauma informed training, Risk assessments are 3 of the 5 qualifications you will achieve.

From this course you will gain an insight into the youth work industry, pathways to kick start your youth work journey and qualifications to support your progress.
