Time is ticking on your chance to nominate a deserving person or group from Suffolk’s voluntary sector.
The Community Action Suffolk Awards for 2018 launched officially late last month, and although we’ve already received a number of submissions from across the county, we need yours too!
Sponsored by Birketts Solicitors, the awards are designed to celebrate the incredible work being carried out by clubs, charities, communities and individuals.
There are eight categories in all, and all shortlisted entrants will be invited to a special event at the Museum of East Anglian Life in September.
Pete Richardson, CEO, reiterated the golden opportunity which the awards present, as a chance to applaud those in the community who are making such a difference to Suffolk.
“Day in day out, Community Action Suffolk is privileged to work with, and hear about, some of the wonderful projects and people achieving good things in our region,” he said.
“Our annual awards gives us a real chance to publicly celebrate those accomplishments, so I would urge everyone to think about who they might put forward.”
