There is little doubt that the current cost of living crisis is affecting many organisations across Suffolk regardless of sector. At CAS, we are keen to understand more about how it is specifically affecting our VCSE sector with a view to providing a Suffolk picture to key stakeholders in September. From our smallest community groups, right the way through to our largest charities, feedback from the sector so far has highlighted various impacts including reduced numbers of volunteers, increased core costs and overheads, and pressure on service delivery coupled with higher demand for some services. However, we’d like to hear more and want to offer you a chance to have your experience heard.
In order to really understand how it is affecting, or how you expect it to affect, your group or organisation; we are holding two focus group conversations to look at some of the key issues you are facing. The first will take place on Wednesday 3rd August from 9-10.30 am, and the second on Thursday 11th August from 2-3.30 pm.
