1900s-barclays-bank

A new report by The Campaign for Community Banking Services (CBBS) highlights the accelerating rate of bank closures.

The CBBS says that 1,200 communities across the UK have lost all their banks and hundreds more will do so in the next five years which already has and will, impact significantly on:

  • Sustainability of communities
  • Access to financial services
  • The environment

If your rural community has recently lost its banking service, please ensure that your parish has responded to CAS’s Rural Services Survey. Please do take the time to complete this survey as the information provided will help us to continue to fight for better services for the rural communities of Suffolk, both now and in the future.
