You are invited to join us to find out more about Suffolk Lives Matter: a commitment to prevent suicide in Suffolk.

This is a new strategy bringing together a range of Suffolk organisations with a focus on reducing suicides. An estimated 60 people die by suicide in Suffolk every year, with each death representing a tragic human cost with a devastating impact on family, friends, work colleagues and many others.

Following the launch of the new strategy on 6 October, members of Suffolk’s public health team would like to gain your insight into how we can achieve the priorities in the strategy, and how you can support this work. At the same time, you will hear about the emerging campaign to raise awareness of the services available to support those who need help, including a summary of themes from recent focus groups with Suffolk men aged 40-60 and health professionals that will inform the campaign.

This is an informal, interactive event with plenty of opportunity for discussion and to find out more about the strategy and our approach to prevent suicide over the coming years.

Please book your place as these events have limited spaces and will be organised on a first come, first served basis. Refreshments will be provided.
