Village Halls Week- 20th-26th January 2020

Village Halls Week is taking place from Monday 20th– 26th January 2020.  It is a national celebration of village halls and community buildings, their volunteers and the services they offer their communities. It is a chance to showcase your facility and a chance to attract new volunteers and share ideas for future ideas for the hall.

We have arranged a range of FREE networking lunches through the week along with a guest speaker.

On the Thursday 23rd, as part of the week, it is the ‘Share Your History’ day, which is an opportunity to share your hall’s history on social media or put up old pictures or past flyers of previous events.

On Saturday 25th January it is the ‘National Open Day’. This is a good chance to open your hall or community centre to try and attract new users, trustees and groups, whilst boosting community engagement.

To help publicise your activities during the week we can offer you a free marketing pack, which will include:

  • An editable poster for printing or digital sharing
  • An editable invitation for MPs and special guests to your event
  • An editable press release to send you your local paper and other media
