Training

At CAS we believe that we all need to invest in our most valuable asset – our people.

Last year we had over 3,000 bookings for Training, so clearly you agree.

Exciting news! Our Fundraising Suffolk 2020 Virtual conference is available to book from 9am on Thursday 13th August 2020

We have nationally recognised influencers from across the sector to inspire, innovate and offer practical solutions to some of the fundraising challenges you face.

Interactive workshops provide key information on the fundamentals of fundraising, impact measurement as well as considerations for your organisation to enable sustainability, building and strengthening your resilience.

Please scroll down for more information on the conference and our training offer.

Focusing on the Future

Enjoy three essential free online seminars to help your organisation recover from the Covid 19 crisis.

As we lift our heads again into the new uncertain environment, we need to review the key business tools and approaches that will enable us to get back on track and stay there. In this series of three one-hour seminars, Giles Kerkham from MHA Larking Gowen will guide us through a recovery process with practical steps and action planning. This is an essential series for any voluntary sector organisation determined to thrive beyond Covid 19. Places are limited so early booking is advised.

Online Seminar 1

Thursday 8th October 11.00 – 12.00

How to come back from lockdown: practical steps

Online Seminar 2

Thursday 15 October 11.00 – 12.00

Online Seminar 3

As a charity we understand the need to balance the day to day requirements of your organisation with the need to invest in upskilling & developing people that support your organisation. Our effective, high quality training sessions are carefully created to make the most of your valuable time and are informative, relevant, practical and interactive. We provide a wide range of trusted, affordable, high quality learning opportunities to meet your needs.

Our virtual training courses are fully interactive ‘live and in real time’ training courses delivered by our experienced Trainers, using our excellent materials. It’s our same high quality training but it’s delivered online. They are the closest experience to being in a training room with us. You will be able to see, hear and interact with the Trainer and the other participants on the course. No more time or money spent travelling to and from training; you will be able to attend our Virtual Training from the comfort and safety of… wherever you are.

We are phasing the introduction of the courses, starting this summer and will add more courses over time.

  • We have training courses that range from a couple of hours to longer nationally accredited training courses. Our safeguarding training is quality assured by the Suffolk Safeguarding Partnership.
  • We can provide bespoke courses at your own venue for your staff and volunteers.
